The Character: 

Busy, lots of foot and driving traffic, diverse. Gateway to downtown commercial district, several embassies. And a plethora of Condos and 3-4 level row houses. Dupont Circle has become a sort of mini chess mecca for DC. So, a word of advice; if you go there to play, bring your A-game and a lucky charm. The guys that play there may look innocuous, but they have serious chess skills, and could put your Bobby Fisher aspirations in check.
