The Character: 

Once upon a time, this was home to the old Sears store and the neighborhood had the feeling & characteristics of Mayberry. And yet again, enter the new WholeFoods Market and the neighborhood changed dramatically. Other commercial neighbors like BestBuy and the Container Store moved in and the corridor began to transform. While still a mostly residential feel to Tenleytown, it’s not without a renewed convenience, and vibrancy of retail, dining and shopping. There has been a good amount of condo options added to the area, but it is still primarily a mix of beautiful townhomes and single-family homes.
